Overview
The Vimar VM19601 is a 1-module ARKÉ mounting frame with claws for 60 mm round flush mounting boxes.
It sits behind an ARKÉ modular insert (switch, outlet, or similar) and gives you a clean, centered support when you are building or refitting small control points on board, like a cabin switch station, head panel, or a secondary helm console. The transparent body makes it easier to see terminals and conductor routing while wiring, and the module inserts mount from the front side.
The frame can be installed horizontally or vertically, and its overall size is about 7.4 x 7.4 cm with a depth around 2.5 cm, which helps when you are working within tight panel real estate.
Key features
- 1-module mounting frame with claws for 60 mm round flush mounting boxes
- Front-side module insert mounting to keep installation straightforward during wiring and finishing
- Transparent body for better visibility when routing and checking conductors
- Honeycomb structure that adds stiffness to the frame in service
- Corner slots for alignment and panel fixing
- Hooking teeth that help keep frames aligned when installed in series
- Supports horizontal or vertical orientation; approximate overall size 7.4 x 7.4 x 2.5 cm and weight about 24 g
Compatibility and fit
This mounting frame is intended for ARKÉ modular devices and fits standard 60 mm round flush mounting boxes. It supports a single module position in either orientation. It is not intended for DIN-rail mounting, floor boxes, or ducting systems.
Installation and setup
The claws clamp into the mounting box, which is useful when access behind the panel is limited. Use the corner slots to keep the frame square to the cutout and secure it neatly, then complete wiring and fit the modular insert from the front side before installing the matching cover plate.
Materials and onboard use
The thermoplastic body avoids corrosion issues that come with metal supports in damp compartments, and the honeycomb structure helps the frame stay firm when panels see vibration. It is a solid fit for boats where you are standardizing on ARKÉ devices and want consistent spacing as you add or replace modules over time.
