Overview
The Vimar EIKON 3-module electronic cover plate is a trim plate for three-module switch and control positions where the finish is meant to be part of the interior, not just a cover over the mechanism. It measures 118 x 106 mm, mounts horizontally or vertically, and uses clamp fastening for built-in installations, wall duct applications, and subfloor installation duct boxes.
This range is offered in materials that change the look and feel of the finished panel, including BevelLED Crystal, natural leather, Corian, natural stone, and natural wood. Overall depth varies by version, with profiles in this family listed at 8.6 mm or 17.4 mm depending on material.
For marine use, this is an interior trim component rather than a weather-exposed fitting. The IP00 rating makes it a better match for cabins, saloons, protected helm areas, and other dry locations where appearance, touch, and clean integration with the electrical system matter.

Variants
This cover plate is available in a wide finish range rather than a single surface treatment. The collection includes BevelLED Crystal in Aqua, Black Diamond, Diamant White, and Pearl Grey, Natural Leather in Cream and Tobacco, Corian in Glacier Ice, Natural Stone in Grey Quartzite, and Natural Wood in Italian Walnut, Wengé, and White Oak.
What changes across the range is the material, color, surface character, and in some cases the overall depth. The core format stays centered on the same 3-module layout and the same mounting orientation, so the choice is mostly about how the finished control point should look and sit within the surrounding joinery or wall surface.
Installation and fit
This plate is meant for a 3-module position and can be installed in either horizontal or vertical orientation. It works in built-in electrical installations and is also listed for wall duct and subfloor duct box use, which helps when the same switch style needs to carry through different parts of the boat or refit.
When checking fit, the important points are the module count, the mounting system, and the finished projection from the panel. That last detail matters on narrow bulkheads, furniture ends, and helm surrounds where trim depth can affect clearance and the final look.
Use on board
This is a good match for yachts and powerboats where interior switch plates are visible and need to tie in with timber, leather, stone-effect, or gloss detailing already used in the cabin or helm. It also works well in refit projects that are moving away from plain plastic trim toward finishes that feel more in step with the rest of the interior.
Because it is an IP00 trim component, it belongs in protected spaces rather than exposed decks, wet lockers, or washdown areas. In the right location, it gives a control point a more finished look without changing the basic 3-module layout behind it.
