The Vimar Eikon 21613 is a 3-module flush-mounted frame range for modular switch installations, with the option of the frame itself or the matching protection cover. The frame version takes 3 modules in a horizontal layout or 1 module vertically, mounts flush in a 3-module box, accepts module inserts from the front, and includes fixing screws.

On boats, this type of part is typically used behind interior switch and control points where Vimar modular devices are being fitted into a bulkhead, wall panel, or furniture face. The cover version is a transparent cover for the same 3-module frame, used when that opening needs to stay covered during installation, finishing work, or service.

Variants

This range is offered in two configurations: the 3-module mounting frame itself and the matching protection cover for that frame.

What changes between variants is the function of the part. VM21613 is the frame that supports the modular devices in the wall opening. VM21613.C is the transparent cover that fits over a 3-module mounting frame. Both relate to the same 3-module layout, but they are different components.

• VM21613 / Accessory Mounting Frame. This is the 3-module mounting frame with screws for 3-module mounting boxes. It is the support piece used when building or replacing the actual switch mounting point.
• VM21613.C / Accessory Protection Cover. This is the transparent protection cover for the 3-module mounting frame. It adds a cover over the frame when the opening needs to stay protected while work is still ongoing.

Compatibility and fit

This range makes sense when the boat is already being built around Vimar Eikon modular switching components and a 3-module flush layout. Fit matters here more than appearance alone, since the frame has to match the mounting box and module arrangement already planned into the panel.

The frame version is a flush-mount support rather than a surface accessory, and it is not supplied with a built-in installation box. The cover version is the matching 3-module protective cover, so it should be treated as a companion part for the frame rather than as a substitute for it.

Use on board

This is a good match for interior switching points in cabins, companionways, galleys, and utility spaces where a flush finish is part of the panel layout. It is especially useful on refit work where existing Vimar modular devices need the correct 3-module support or where a finished opening needs to stay covered until the installation is fully complete.
