The Garmin 010-13228-01 is a trolling motor barrel mount kit for the LiveScope Plus LVS34 transducer. It fastens the transducer to the round barrel section of your trolling motor, keeping the sonar view tied to where the motor is pointed.

The mount uses molded teeth so you can set the transducer position and keep it from creeping when the motor is running. It is made to fit a wide range of trolling-motor barrel diameters, including many Minn Kota and MotorGuide models.

Compatibility and fit

This mount is intended for installations using the LiveScope Plus LVS34 transducer, whether you purchased the transducer by itself or as part of a LiveScope Plus system package. Before mounting, confirm you have clear space around the barrel and that the transducer and cable will not hit the bracket, mount, or steering hardware through the full deploy, stow, and steering range.

Installation and setup

Position the transducer so it stays aligned with how you fish, and check clearance with the motor fully deployed and fully stowed. Once you set the angle, use the molded-tooth adjustment to lock the position, then route the cable so it is supported along the motor and has enough slack at pivot points to prevent pinching when you turn or stow the trolling motor.

After the first trip, re-check the mount position and cable routing. Trolling motors see constant vibration, and a quick follow-up check helps keep everything tracking straight.

Use on board

This is a good fit for anglers running LiveScope Plus from the bow where the transducer needs to follow the trolling motor direction for scanning structure and tracking fish while you maneuver.
