Overview
The Garmin 010-N1366-00 is a remanufactured 6 ft (1.8 m) open-array radar antenna array that mounts on a compatible GMR Fantom pedestal (pedestal sold separately).
This is the rotating array only, meant for service replacement in an existing Fantom open-array radar install. It is a straightforward way to restore the correct 6-foot array length when your current array needs to be replaced, without changing the rest of the pedestal installation.
Key features
- 6 ft (1.8 m) open-array antenna array length
- Array-only component that mounts to a compatible GMR Fantom pedestal (pedestal not included)
- Remanufactured unit intended for replacing a worn or damaged Fantom open-array antenna array
- Works in typical radar mounting locations on hardtops, arches, and masts where the full sweep has clearance
- Keeps the replacement focused on the antenna array when the pedestal remains in place
What’s included
- 6 ft remanufactured open-array antenna array only
Compatibility and fit
This array is meant to be paired with a GMR Fantom pedestal that accepts a 6-foot open-array antenna. Confirm you are replacing a 6-foot open array and not a 4-foot array or a radome, and verify that your existing pedestal is the Fantom platform intended for this array style.
Plan the mounting location around the full rotation envelope. Keep the sweep area clear of rigging, antennas, lights, and anything else that could be struck while the array is turning.
Installation and setup
Installation is a mechanical swap onto the pedestal, so start by isolating power to the radar system and making sure you have safe access to the mount. A 6-foot array is long and awkward to handle on a boat, so having a second person for removal and refit makes the job much safer.
After the array is secured, complete the normal radar checks on your display to confirm rotation and verify that radar returns look consistent with your previous setup.
Use cases on board
This is a good match for boats that already run a GMR Fantom open-array pedestal and need to replace the 6-foot array while keeping the rest of the radar install intact. It is commonly used on hardtop and arch-mounted installs where an open array has room to rotate without interference.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off the array during routine washdowns and check the mounting fasteners for loosening after long runs or heavy weather. Keep covers, lines, and stored gear away from the sweep path so the array can rotate freely.
