Overview
The Vimar SICURY Series is a 2P 10A 250V axial plug range for Italian standard S10 connections on portable AC equipment. Across the listed variants, the electrical format stays the same, with a two-pole layout, 10A current rating, 250V AC rating, and axial cable entry.
For boats and yachts, this style of plug makes sense where onboard outlets or dockside accessories already use the Italian S10 pattern. It suits small cabin appliances, chargers, and other portable loads that stay within the plug's rating, and the straight cable exit helps keep the lead running neatly out of the back of the plug body.
Key features
- 2P plug format rated at 10A and 250V AC.
- Italian standard S10 pattern for systems that use this outlet format.
- Axial cable entry keeps the cable aligned with the plug body for a straight run.
- Available in black or white with the same electrical rating across both listed variants.
- CE marked and IMQ certified.
Variants
This product is offered in two color configurations.
The listed variants differ by finish, while the electrical format remains the same across the range, including the 2P layout, 10A rating, 250V AC rating, Italian S10 standard, and axial cable entry.
- VM01020: Black. The darker finish is less noticeable against dark panels, cable looms, or utility areas.
- VM01020.B: White. The lighter finish blends more easily with white interiors, sockets, and trim.
Compatibility and fit
Check the outlet style before ordering. This is a two-pole Italian S10 plug, so it should be matched with outlets built for that format and with equipment that does not require a protective earth through the plug.
It is not the same body style as grounded 2P+E Italian plugs or higher-current 16A versions, so plug shape and load requirements should be confirmed before installation.
Installation and onboard use
The axial entry works well where the cable needs to leave the plug in a straight line rather than turning sharply at the outlet. On board, that can help in cabins, behind lockers, or near bulkhead outlets where space around the receptacle is limited.
This plug is a good match for owners refitting portable AC leads on boats that already follow Italian socket standards, and for electricians or service yards replacing like-for-like plugs on existing equipment.
