The Vimar Mille series is a 2P+E 10A axial plug for Italian standard S11 AC connections on boats that use this outlet format in protected interior spaces. It is rated for 10A at 250V, uses a straight axial cable entry, and connects with screwed terminals for a wired portable lead or replacement plug.

The body is thermoplastic and the plug is built to IP20, so it suits dry onboard areas such as cabins, enclosed utility spaces, or portable appliances kept away from spray and washdowns. For vessels already fitted with Italian-style 10A sockets, it keeps the connection format consistent without changing the outlet type.

Variants

This plug is offered in two color configurations within the same Mille series 10A axial format.

Across both variants, the rated voltage, rated current, Italian S11 layout, axial cable entry, screw-terminal connection, and IP20 protection stay the same. The visible difference is the body color.

• VM01021: Black. A darker finish that blends more easily with black leads, darker trim, or equipment panels.
• VM01021.B: White. A lighter finish that matches white interiors, white accessories, and light-colored cable runs more naturally.

Compatibility and fit

This plug is for boats already using Italian 10A sockets that accept the S11 pattern. It includes protective earth, so it should be matched to the correct 2P+E receptacle and to a circuit that stays within the 10A, 250V rating.

Because the protection level is IP20, it is better suited to inside spaces such as cabins, galleys, or other enclosed areas rather than open cockpits, deck lockers exposed to spray, or washdown zones. It is a sensible replacement for a damaged plug on a lamp, fan, small appliance, or portable accessory used inside the boat.

Installation and setup

The axial entry keeps the cable straight as it leaves the plug, which can help where the lead runs down a bulkhead or behind joinery. Screw terminals also make retermination simpler when a portable cord end needs service, provided the wiring matches the vessel's AC system and the outlet standard already in use.
