Overview
The Lopolight 200-012G2-PRO is a 360 degree white LED anchor light with 2 NM visibility for vessels up to 50 m (164 ft). It runs on 10-32 VDC, which covers both 12V and 24V systems, and lists power draw as 2W / 6W.
It mounts horizontally on a POM base and carries an IP68 rating, so it suits exposed locations where spray and washdowns are normal. The housing is black hard coat anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens, and the body measures about 92.5 mm in diameter by 75 mm tall with a listed weight of 1 kg.
As an all-round white light, it is typically mounted high and clear so it can be seen from every direction when the boat is at anchor or lying to a mooring.
Key features
- All-round 360 degree white light with 2 NM visibility, rated for vessels up to 50 m (164 ft).
- 10-32 VDC input for 12V and 24V DC systems; listed power draw 2W / 6W.
- Horizontal mounting on an IP68-rated POM base for wet, exposed installations.
- Side-exit cable direction with a plug connector to keep the connection neat at the base.
- Includes an HDPE base plate plus two cable glands for 4.5-10 mm and 7-13 mm cable diameters.
- Black hard coat anodized aluminum housing (50 µ) with PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel fasteners.
- Specified operating temperature range of -25C to 55C.
Installation and setup
Mount the light where the lens has a clean 360 degree view with minimal shadowing from antennas, domes, flags, or rigging. For powerboats, this often lands on a hardtop, radar arch, or mast platform. For sailboats, a stern pole or a dedicated bracket can work as long as the light is high enough to avoid being blocked by the sail cover or backstay.
Because the cable exits to the side, leave room for the bend radius and secure the run so it cannot chafe at the entry point. Use the cable gland size that matches your cable jacket diameter so the seal grips evenly and stays watertight over time.
Electrical and system integration
Connect it to a switched 10-32 VDC circuit. Minimum feed wire gauge is listed as 0.5 mm2 (22 AWG); on longer runs, stepping up wire size helps reduce voltage drop. The plug connector at the light makes it easier to disconnect the fixture for service without pulling the full cable run.
Compatibility and fit
This model is specified for boats in the under 12 m, 12-20 m, and 20-50 m ranges with a 2 NM visibility requirement. If you are replacing an existing all-round or anchor light, compare the footprint and the 92.5 mm diameter body size to confirm clearance and coverage over old fastener holes.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The housing uses a black hard coat anodized aluminum finish and A4 stainless steel hardware, with epoxy and polyurethane sealing listed for the assembly. That combination suits installations where salt, UV, vibration, and frequent washdowns are part of normal life on board.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt and grime off the lens during routine washdowns and avoid abrasive pads that can haze PMMA. Periodically check mounting screws and the cable gland for tightness, especially after seasonal temperature changes or heavy weather runs.
