Overview

The Vimar Plana Series is a range of flush-mounted 2P+E P17/11 outlets for 250V AC circuits that use the Italian Bipasso format. Across the range, each outlet is rated 16A at 250V~ with 50 to 60 Hz operation, uses screw terminals, and fits a 1-module body measuring 22.30 x 49.00 x 34.50 mm.

This outlet format works well for protected interior AC points on board, such as cabin joinery, galley panels, or nav-station furniture, where a neat flush finish matters and the installation already uses the Plana system. With an IP20 rating and no hinged lid, it belongs in dry interior spaces rather than exposed cockpit, deck, or washdown areas.

The range also uses the SICURY contact-protection system and a halogen-free thermoplastic body with a glossy surface. Because this is a 250V AC outlet, it is intended for shore-power or inverter-fed AC distribution, not 12V or 24V DC circuits.

Across the listed variants, the outlet format stays the same: Italian Bipasso P17/11, 2P+E, 16A, 250V~, 50 to 60 Hz, flush-mounted, screw terminal, IP20, and a 1-module body. What changes between versions is the visible finish and, on AB models, the antibacterial treatment.

• VM14203: White finish. This version keeps the outlet visually neutral for cabins and other interior panels where the device should blend into lighter trim.
• VM14203.SL: Silver finish. The silver version has a lacquered glossy surface that gives the outlet a more defined contrast on darker joinery or more contemporary interiors.
• VM14203.AB: White finish with antibacterial treatment. It keeps the same white look while adding a version that suits shared interior touch points.
• VM14203.R: Red finish. The color stands out clearly on the panel, which helps when the outlet needs faster visual identification.
• VM14203.AB.R: Red finish with antibacterial treatment. It combines the high-visibility red body with the antibacterial version of the outlet.

Compatibility and fit

Before ordering, check that the boat uses the Italian P17/11 plug pattern and that the installation point is a dry, protected interior location. Fit also depends on the 1-module Plana format and the matching flush-mounted arrangement already in the panel.
