Overview

The Lumitec Maxillume h60 is a high-output LED flood light for deck and spreader use, with 6,000+ white lumens at 5000K and a 10-30 VDC input range (12V or 24V systems).

White dimming is handled internally, so it can be run from a standard on/off switch. The light ramps up on startup, and a quick off/on toggle during that ramp sets the brightness level. The housing is IP67 sealed for exposed mounting, and the unit uses a cast aluminum body with a tempered glass lens.

This light is offered in multiple configurations based on mounting style and housing finish.

Across the listed variants, the electrical range and light output remain consistent: 10-30 VDC input, 60W, and 6,000+ lumens of white dimming light at 5000K.

• 101336: Flush mount, white finish. Flush mounting keeps the faceplate close to the surface for a clean install on a hardtop, radar arch, or cabin side.
• 101334: Trunnion mount, white finish. The trunnion bracket makes aiming easier when the light needs to be pitched down onto the foredeck, cockpit, or working area.
• 101335: Trunnion mount, black finish. A black housing blends in with dark hardtops and T-tops while keeping the same output and dimming behavior.

Installation and setup

For flush mounting, plan for a faceplate footprint of about 8.31 inches by 2.73 inches and allow roughly 2.49 inches of depth behind the mounting surface for the light body and wiring. Trunnion mount units sit on a bracket and are about 7.13 inches wide, with an overall height around 3.03 inches and depth around 2.49 inches.

Wiring is straightforward for standard switching: connect the negative lead to DC negative and the positive lead to your switched DC supply. Use a fuse or breaker sized for the circuit and wire gauge, and route the cable so it is supported and protected from chafe in hardtops, arches, and mast runs.

Electrical and control integration

Maxillume h60 runs on either 12V or 24V systems within its 10-30 VDC range, which helps on mixed-voltage refits and boats that see voltage swing under load. If you are tying into a compatible Lumitec control setup, it can also be integrated into PLI control systems such as Poco when wired in the 3-wire configuration.

Use on board

This is a good fit for boats that need wide-area working light for docking, loading gear, washdowns, rigging, and night fishing. It also suits sailboats using spreader-mounted floods where washdown sealing and stable output on long cable runs matter.
