Overview
The Hella Marine NaviLED 360 is a 2 nautical mile all-round white plug-in pole navigation lamp that runs on 9-33V DC for 12V and 24V systems. Power draw is under 1W, which helps when the light may be left on for long periods.
It is rated IP67 and built for life outside where it sees sun, salt air, and vibration. The electronics are intended to reduce the chance of interference with onboard navigation, communication, and other electrical equipment.
This format is typically used where an all-round white light needs to sit up on a pole, and the plug-in style is convenient when the boat is stored under a cover or trailered.
Key features
- All-round white navigation light with 2 nautical mile visibility rating
- Multivolt input for 12V or 24V boats (9-33V DC)
- Low current draw, listed at under 1W
- IP67 rated for use in exposed mounting locations with spray and washdowns
- Electronics built to help minimize interference with onboard equipment
- Offered in multiple pole lengths to suit different mounting heights
- Covered by a 5-year warranty
Variants
This product line is offered with two housing colors (black or white) and three pole lengths: 24-inch, 42-inch, and 54-inch.
Pole length mainly affects mounting height and how well the light clears rails, canvas, and fishing gear. Housing color is a visual match choice for the boat.
Installation and setup
Mount the plug-in base where the pole can sit straight and the light has a clear 360 degree view. Plan for practical access so the pole can be removed when needed, and seal any deck fasteners or cable pass-throughs to keep water out of the core.
After mounting, confirm the light is not blocked by antennas, rod holders, hardtops, or a folded bimini in the way you normally run or anchor.
Electrical and system integration
Wire the light to a switched circuit on the boat and protect the feed with an appropriately sized fuse for the circuit. Since the lamp accepts 9-33V DC, it fits both 12V and 24V systems without a separate converter.
Use on board
An all-round white light is commonly used as part of an anchor light setup or other all-round white navigation light applications, depending on the vessel and how it is operated. Confirm the required light type, placement, and switching against the rules that apply to your boat.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt residue with fresh water during routine washdowns and keep the lens clean so the light output stays consistent. Check the base connection and wiring strain relief occasionally, especially on boats that see pounding or frequent pole removal.
