The Vimar Plana Series 2 Modules Cover Plate is a 2-module faceplate that finishes a Plana switch or outlet installation with an 80 x 80 mm footprint and 9 mm depth.
It can be installed horizontally or vertically and uses a clamp-style fastening so the plate sits cleanly once the wiring devices are in place. With an IP00 rating, it is meant for dry, protected interior locations such as cabins, saloons, and chart tables, not exposed deck areas or wet heads.
The module format stays the same across the range, while the appearance changes by finish and material, including technopolymer, metal, and solid wood options.

This cover plate is offered in many configurations that differ by finish and material. The part number identifies the exact combination, including standard Plana finishes and Plana Up Design finishes.
Across the range you will see technopolymer colors (including matt, metallized, and Reflex finishes), metal finishes such as bronze, silver, brushed aluminium, antique brass, and pearl tones, plus solid wood options like maple and cherry. Antibacterial white options are also available in both standard and Plana Up Design styling.
Compatibility and fit
This is a 2-module plate, so it matches installations built around a 2-module support and the corresponding Plana wiring devices. Before ordering, confirm the module count on your device set and that your cutout or box position supports the 80 mm square plate footprint.
Installation and setup
Install the wiring devices and their support first, then fit the cover plate using the clamp fastening so it seats evenly against the surface. On a boat, it helps to check that the plate is fully engaged after the first few trips, especially on bulkheads that see vibration.
Use on board
