Overview
The Hella Marine 358111721 is a red MST6E LED lighthead for 12-24V DC systems, built for surface mounting when you need a compact signal or warning light on a boat.
The housing sits low against the mounting surface and measures about 5.1 in long, 1.1 in tall, and 0.26 in thick, which helps when space is tight on a hardtop, cabin side, transom, trailer, or utility bracket. Six LEDs sit behind a frosted lens that lights across the face, with selectable flash patterns plus a steady-on mode for a constant red marker.

Installation and wiring
Mount it on a flat, solid surface where the light can be seen from the direction you need, then seal any fasteners and cable pass-throughs to keep water out of the laminate or core. Wire it to DC power and ground using marine-grade tinned conductors and heat-shrink terminations, and route the harness away from high-heat areas, sharp edges, and moving hardware.
When multiple lightheads are fitted on the same vessel, they can be set up to flash together or alternate as a group so the pattern stays consistent.
Compatibility and fit
This unit is intended for auxiliary signalling and attention lighting. If you are outfitting required navigation lighting, confirm the approvals, visibility range, and mounting angles that apply to your vessel and operating area.
