Overview
This Vimar 3-module flush mounting box is a rectangular box for masonry walls with space for three device inserts in a 96 x 59 mm format. It has a 50 mm inner depth, up to 49.8 mm installation depth, and 12 inlets with break-out openings sized for 20/25 mm conduit.
The body is halogen-free plastic and the box can be coupled with matching accessories when several boxes need to be installed in line. It also includes a patented rack for a dividing screen and zinc-plated support screw lugs that help keep the threads clear during installation. This is the concealed box behind the finished device, not a standalone exposed enclosure.

Variants
This product is offered in two configurations of the same 3-module flush mounting box for masonry walls.
The differences between the variants are the glow-wire rating and the box color. The masonry wall format, 3-module layout, and general installation concept remain the same across the range.
- VMV71303: Glow Wire 650 °C, light blue. This version uses the light blue housing commonly specified for standard masonry installations.
- VMV71303.AU: Glow Wire 960 °C, black. This version keeps the same box format with a black housing and a higher glow-wire rating.
Compatibility and fit
This box is intended for flush mounting in masonry walls and for switchgear that mounts by screwing into place. It is not a hollow-wall or plasterboard box, so it suits solid-wall installations where conduit entry, internal wiring space, and a clean flush finish matter more than surface access.
It also works where separate internal compartments are needed, since a matching dividing screen can be fixed to the internal rack. Anti-mortar covers and coupling joints are available for cleaner rough-in work and for creating multi-box combinations.
Installation and setup
The conduit entries are formed by break-out openings, including rear entry, which makes it easier to route wiring into the box from different directions during first fix. The box itself is rated IP00, so the final protection level depends on the complete assembly installed over it.
This is a practical choice for built-in electrical points in masonry utility spaces, marina service buildings, workshop walls, and other fixed installations where a Vimar 3-module flush box is required. It is less suited to lightweight interior panels, where a hollow-wall box would be the better fit.
