The Vimar 8000 Series is a 2-module snap-fixing cover plate range for 3-module flush mounting boxes, used with the 08531 mounting frame. All versions can be mounted horizontally or vertically, are 75.5 mm high and 6 mm deep, and have an IP00 rating for protected interior use.

On board, this type of plate suits interior switch and outlet positions where the Vimar 8000 format is already in place, such as cabins, helm fascias, or service panels inside the boat. Width changes with the face material: anodized aluminium versions are 120 mm wide, while resin versions are 123 mm wide.

This range is offered in five finish and material combinations.

What changes between variants is the face material, color, and overall width linked to that material. The mounting format stays the same across the range: each version is a 2-module snap-fix cover plate for the 08531 frame, with horizontal or vertical orientation.

• VM08636.N: Black, anodized aluminium. Uses the 120 mm aluminium face and keeps the same fit on 08531 frames.
• VM08636.BR: Bronze, anodized aluminium. Keeps the same aluminium construction and 120 mm width, with a warmer metallic finish.
• VM08636: Gold, anodized aluminium. Uses the same aluminium version and 120 mm width, finished in gold.
• VM08636.A: Ivory, resin. Uses the 123 mm resin face while keeping the same 2-module snap-fix layout.
• VM08636.Z: White, resin. Shares the resin construction and 123 mm width, with the same fit as the other versions.

Fit depends on the Vimar 08531 mounting frame and a 3-module flush mounting box, or the matching wall duct or subfloor duct box arrangement. This plate is the finishing face for a 2-module position, so it matches installations already based on the 8000 series layout.
