The Vimar 8000 Series is a 3-module cover plate range in anodized aluminium for Vimar modular wiring installations. These versions fit 3-module mounting boxes, use screw fixing, and measure 120 x 75.5 x 6 mm, so the footprint and mounting style are easy to confirm before you match them to an existing panel or refit project.

This plate is part of an interior electrical finishing system rather than a weather-exposed fitting. The body is aluminium with an anodized matte surface, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and it is used with mounting frame 08531. IP00 construction makes it a better fit for cabins, protected helm areas, nav stations, and other enclosed spaces where modular switches or sockets need a clean finished surround.

Variants

This product is offered in two finish options within the same 3-module format.

The difference between the variants is the plate color. Fit, mounting method, and overall dimensions stay the same across both versions.

• VM08537.BR, bronze finish. This version gives the plate a darker matte look that suits interiors using warmer metals or darker trim.
• VM08537, gold finish. This version gives the plate a lighter metallic appearance that works well where existing switchgear or trim uses gold-tone details.

Compatibility and fit

This cover plate is made for 3-module Vimar 8000 installations and is intended to be paired with frame 08531. It is also suitable for built-in installations, wall ducts, and subfloor installation duct boxes where that module format is already in use.

Installation and setup

Because it uses screw mounting, this plate is a practical match for refit work where you want the faceplate held firmly in place once the wiring device and frame are already installed. The shallow 6 mm profile keeps the finished face neat without adding bulk to the panel surface.
