Overview
The Vimar Eikon EVO 21654 is a 4-module cover plate that finishes a matching Eikon mounting frame around switches, sockets, and other modular inserts. It is the visible trim piece on the bulkhead, so it is often chosen to match surrounding joinery at the helm, in cabins, and in saloons where the switchgear is in constant view.
The plate uses clamp mounting and carries an IP00 protection level, which makes it a better fit for protected interior areas than for exposed wet locations. Overall size is around 140 mm wide by 105 to 106 mm high, with depth around 10 mm, with small differences between finishes.

Across the range, the plate remains a 4-module Eikon cover plate with the same mounting approach, so fit is driven by the compatible 4M frame and inserts rather than by electrical system details.
Compatibility and fit
This is a trim plate, not an electrical device, so it does not change how a 12 V or 24 V system is wired. Compatibility comes from the Vimar Eikon modular ecosystem: confirm you have a 4-module Eikon support frame and the correct back box or mounting arrangement for your bulkhead thickness.
If your boat has a mix of switch series or older plates, check the frame family and module layout before ordering so the plate aligns cleanly with the inserts and sits flat on the surface.
Installation and setup
Isolate power to the circuit before working around the switchgear. Remove the existing plate, verify the 4M support frame is secure, then align the new plate and press evenly until it seats on the clamps.
On boats, a solid back box or reinforced panel helps keep the frame from flexing under vibration, which keeps the plate sitting flush and prevents squeaks or gaps over time.
Maintenance and care
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and strong solvents, especially on polished, crystal, wood, leather, stone, and solid surface finishes, where scratching or dulling can show quickly under cabin lighting.
This plate makes the most sense for refits or new builds already using Vimar Eikon or Eikon EVO inserts, where matching the finish to metalwork or wood trim is part of the interior plan.
