It gives you a covered battery installation with terminal access that stays practical after the box is strapped down.

Top-facing vents let gas escape while reducing water intake by 94 percent compared with the PowerGuard 27 Series, and built-in spill channels move rain and splash away from the battery. The polypropylene composite body resists acid runoff and helps limit UV discoloration, which matters in battery compartments that see heat, moisture, and regular washdowns.
