The Vimar Arké RJ12 phone jack 6/6 is a 1-module flush-mounted communication insert for fixed RJ12 telephone points in an Arké installation. It uses a 6-position 6-conductor layout and screw terminals, which makes it suitable for hard-wired cabin phones, intercom points, or service-call stations where the cable is terminated directly at the back of the insert.

For marine interiors, the main checks are system match and mounting location. This insert is built for the Arké modular platform, mounts flush, carries an IP20 rating, and measures about 22.3 mm wide, 49 mm high, and just over 43 mm deep. Its halogen-free thermoplastic body and clamp mounting make it a practical fit for enclosed helm areas, cabins, nav stations, and utility spaces inside the boat rather than open deck locations or washdown zones.

Compatibility and fit

This jack makes sense where the boat already uses Vimar Arké modular hardware or where a refit is being built around that platform. Check that the panel or wall box accepts a 1-module Arké device and that the installation point is a protected interior space. The insert does not have a dust cover, so it is better placed where the port stays inside the accommodation area or another sheltered part of the vessel.
